Ask your Opel dealer for MOP4 CanBus alarm. This original equipment is installed by Opel in Astras and Vectras and also being sold as an accessory.

I asked the manufacturer company in Italy, Metasystem, if it is possible to install it in my Corsa D and they told me that it is perfectly possible.

I plan to buy it in the near future...

I don't think so...
I guess some people lose their interest quickly,
or actually they are not so interested at all...

Your Corsa looks great, especially paintwork on original wheels is perfect.

What you call SRi in UK is called GSI in rest of the Europe but it is only available with the 1.6 turbo/150hp engine as Timo said.

1.7CDTI/125 hp engine is available in lower trim levels like Sport (SXi in UK) and Cosmo (Design in UK, I guess)

I wrote an e-mail to Russelsheim, but instead of answering and offering help, they preferred to redirect my e-mail to GM Turkey Customer Services. Unfortunately, GM Turkey was never a problem-solver company and I don't expect any helpful action from them...

As you can see, the last message in this thread before this one is one-and-a-half year old. Now it's time to post a new message here because this is the day of the biggest change in my Corsa yet.

I've bought a set of 17" star-design 5-spoked original Opel alloy wheels, along with a set of Continental ContiSportContact3 215/45R17 87V tyres.

I'm very happy with the way it looks now and I would appreciate your comments.

But don't ask me where the bloody wheel-hub covers are!!!
(wheel-hub covers = zierkappen in Deutsch, oder abdeckung ?).

The dealer had forgotten to order them separately and we will have to wait another week or two

No, unfortunately there is no information about the release date.

While browsing the Opel's EPC program (spare parts catalogue), I saw the new engine codes : A10XEP, A12XER and A14XER.

I don't know anybody here knows anything about this but I guess we can say it is official now, as EPC program is Opel's own information source.

Then I made a search through the Internet using those engine codes and found a GM document. There it looks like that A14XER will have a maximum power of 100 hp and a maximum torque of 130 Nm. Also the F13+ gearbox is likely to be replaced with the F17, the one used in the Astra H.

A13DTH engine code is also listed there and it looks like max power has upgraded to 95 hp and the torque to 210 Nm.

Also a new 1.4 turbo engine with the code A14NET was mentioned in the document and the max power is listed as 136 hp and the torque is 200 Nm. The gearbox is likely to be 6-speed M32, the one used in the GSI and OPC. But it is not yet clear whether this engine will be used in Corsa D or not.

I still can't believe in my eyes, and I don't know if and when GM start to import new models to Turkey, but Sport will be an excellent car with these new standart equipment anyway :

- Sichtpaket
- Technikpaket
- ESP Plus
- Solar Reflect windschutzscheibe
- Klimatisierungsautomatik

and a new option :

- Aktive Kopfstützen, vorn, € 50

Of all these standart equipments, only ESP and Sichtpaket were available as extra-cost options for all Corsa versions here in Turkey, until now. If GM Turkey decides to bring the new car with all these standart equipments, it would be a great step forward...

I went to the dealer today; there was a Corsa Enjoy model equipped with this Pioneer unit there. I got the key and played with it a little.

The buttons on the steering wheel work but not fully.

The turning-knob on the right controls the volume level as expected, the up and down buttons control the manual radio frequency search.

The turning-knob on the left has no function.
The upper button switches between AM/FM and DVD.
The lower button has no function.

The unit itself is a nice toy but it could be integrated better...
