    I just noticed that the sample chassis numbers in the title of this poll and in the above message start with the letters WOLO. I think that is wrong and it should be W0L0. I mean, those are zeros, not the letter O's.


    Am I wrong ?

  • Squeaking door hinges

    Hi Opelanerin,


    Thank you very much for your response.


    For weeks, I had enough of this squeaking and the first thing I'll do tomorrow morning is to go to the service and let them examine the problem. But it would be very useful to have some information from the experienced beforehand.

  • Squeaking door hinges

    Hello everybody,


    I've been driving my new Corsa for one and a half month and 5600 kilometers. So far I'm very happy with it and I had no problems, except the squeaking rear door hinges.


    The squeaking started around 3000 kms and it's been worsening these days. The left rear door is the most audibly squeaking one, especially while going over poor surfaces. Is there anybody else who has been experiencing such a problem ?


    Is it possible that the doors need some adjustment and some greasing ?

    Today it went through a paint protection scheme at local Ziebart Shop so it looks brighter now !.. 8)


    I attached some more pictures.
    On the background you can see the Marmara Sea with its deepest blue, and the Prince Islands of Istanbul at far back...

    Unfortunately yes, that's true, but not only for SuperPlus, but also for all other fuel types. Usual 95 octanes lead-free is 1.66€ per liter. Taxes on the fuel are just too high here, maybe the highest in the whole Europe !.. X(

    Yeah, actually I don't know whether using SuperPlus would make any difference but it's only 0.03 euros per liter more expensive than the 95. That means I will pay only 1.35 euros more per tank, so I thought that it's worth trying. Some say that it's just a marketing trick, some others say that it really provides better performance etc.


    We're yet to see..

    I paid 30,950.- Turkish Liras for it.
    The current Euro conversion rate is 1.71 so it amounts to 18,100.- Euros.


    The bad thing is that bare price of the car is 11,000 Euros.
    Our dear government bills us a whopping 37 percent of Special-Consumption-Tax for the cars (4,100 Euros), and an 18 percent of Value-Added-Tax (mwst) (2,700 Euros). X(


    Anyway, nothing can spoil my good mood !.. I've got my car, and I've been driving it with a biiiiigggg smile on my face :D
