As a happy Corsa D owner from Turkey, completing the survey was a pleasure for me!..
Hope my experiences would count.

Congratulations for your brand new Corsa.
Nice wheels, nice car!...
Needless to say anything about the colourI don't know whether you like bodykits or not, but your car would be perfect with the front & rear spoilers and side skirts

Congratulations for your new little red devil,
and wish you accident-free rides...Red is the best, by the way

Hello everybody,
After days and months of research on the Internet, I found a pair of nice door-sills for my Corsa. I bought them from the ebay.co.uk. They are manufactured in England and material is stainless steel. The cost was 45 euros including packagiing & shipping to Istanbul via Royal Mail. The delivery took only a week, the product is near perfect and now I'm a happy customer.
As I've been following this topic, I know that most of fellow forum people here bought door-sills made by Mr.Claussen. I made contact with him and he just directed me to this forum but I was already aware of this topic.
Mr.Claussen's door-sills were looking very good , I like them a lot but the only thing I'd like to customize was the font of the "CORSA" etching on the sill. I wanted it to be the same font as the original Corsa font, as used in the back of the car itself. I asked Mr.Claussen if this was possible but he didn't reply.
So I kept looking and found these sills.
Your comments are welcome.Regards,

Yeah, I've already ordered a new one while I was looking for the color code. Because there was a risk of having wheels with unmatched colors in the end, even if I was able to find the color code. Paintwork is always a tricky job, even for the experienced.
I got the old wheel painted anyway, as I said I'm gonna use it as the spare. The painted wheel looks great with a brand-new shiny look but the risk I mentioned above is realized and the color looks just a tone darker than the original. Tomorrow I will post the photos of the wheels here...

@gando: is it in your country possible to get white colour in combination with OPC-Line by your Dealer ?I don't think Opel would make such a color option is available in a country, while it's unavailable in the others. This just doesn't make sense to me.
My bet is that he got them re-painted white, after the parts arrived in some other original color; am I correct, gando ?
Very nice car, by the way
Congratulations, and have fun...White with black glass roof looks great.
And the OPC bumper is simply cool!.. -
Thanks again silverrider
I told the code GM160 to the painter guy who works in my private Opel werkstatt, but he said that there is no such a code.
Before that he had told me that he would do his best to match the original color by mixing some other colors. I guess I made him angry with my questions and I also guess he thought that I don't trust his workmanship so he didn't seem interested with the paint codes and such.
Just minutes ago, I received a response from Opel Customer Info Services. It goes like this :
Dear Mr Aytamaner,
Thank you for your e-mail dated 18th of February 2008.
We kindly like to inform you that we did a research on your request and there does not exist a code for the color of the wheels.
Yours sincerely
Adam Opel GmbHI can't believe that there is no code for a paint color, isn't there even a name for the color ? Why don't they tell me it's sterling silver or whatever color it is ?
Anyway, I quit researching and ordered a new wheel.
In the meantime, the damaged wheel will be painted and I will use it as the spare wheel, so it doesn't matter anymore if it matches the original color exactly or not.Best regards,

Hello everybody,
One of the nice features GM Turkey don't offer to us Turkish Corsa customers is the ParkPilot. Here in Turkey, it can be ordered for Cosmo only, as part of the Technic-Pack.
If I had the opportunity when ordering my car, I would definitely order it as a nice-to-have option. Not that I've been having difficulties while parking, but I love to have such cool gadgets in my car
There is a private Opel werkstatt in my neighborhood, and I know the owner for seven years, so it's safe to say that we became friends.
Last time I was there sitting behind one of their computer screens, browsing the Opel's EPC software, looking at the spare parts for Corsa D, I saw the ParkPilot kit, numbered 17 16 471. We checked it against the price lists and it's listed there for 300 euros.
I'm delighted to see that I might now have the opportunity to buy & install the ParkPilot in my car, but at the same time I'm puzzled because neither Turkish nor German Opel accessories sites do not have this ParkPilot product for Corsa D. There are other ParkPilot products for Astra and Vectra, but none for Corsa D.
Is there anybody who has information on this ParkPilot kit ?
Best regards,
Serdar
