Is the radio still working and showing data on the GID when the ECC data is gone?
Radio is working and showing data even when ECC data is gone. Sometimes there is no ECC data on GID and air con works. Sometimes not. ECC unit sometimes even has no lights.
Check the connection of the ECC plugs. The CAN bus data lines are going to the radio and to the GID.

I have checked connections. Radio and ECC what ok. However connection to GID was maybe 2mm out in upper part. I pushed it inside and now everything works. I will get back here in couple of days with info if it still works or not. I hope this was the problem.
