Brauche foto von Bordcomputer anzeige (Instrumententafel)

  • Hello everybody,

I need to see a picture of the trip computer (bordcomputer) display in the instrument panel, the one between the tacho and the speedo.

I know that there are more than one types of display available, at least a small one and a large one. My Corsa has the smaller one, with just two lines of information on it. (Just for the record, my car doesn't have the trip computer.)

What I want to know is where exactly the trip computer displays its information. Does it use the lower two lines, (same as odometer lines)
or do the cars equipped with trip computer come with the larger display and use the upper parts of the display for trip computer information ?

I hope my post is clear enough.

I should repeat that the display I'm interested in is the one in the instrument panel, not the TID or GID on the center console.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. A photo with trip computer info on it would be the most useful for me.

Thanks, and my best regards to everyone.

  • I don't have a photo for you, because I don't own a Corsa D. But maybe I can help you: The upper part of the display is for the BC.
The lower part shows the same as the small display.

  • Hey Saytamaner,

i hope this Picture is correct ? It was made bye opa38. He have a automatic car but the BC between the Engine Controls is the same. Sry, but my english is very bad :)

Thank you very much for your help.
    Sorry for the late response.

Z12XEP, yes that was what I wanted to see. As also sir_d pointed out, it's clear that the BC uses the lines above the odometer clock.

I was thinking about "BC-nachrüstung" but now it seems very difficult to achieve. The instrument panel is a single big piece and it seems that it should be replaced as a whole. I think it's an expensive part and I'm not sure it's worth the time, effort and the money. Also as I saw the "Opel EPC Spare Parts Software"'s database at an Opel service, there are simply too many versions of the instrument panel with miles or kilometer clocks, basic or sport versions, standard or chrome-ringed versions and so on. It takes somebody who is very knowledgeable about all the spare parts, all cars & trim levels etc. to tell which is the right one for my needs and I don't think that such a person exist in my country, neither at the dealers & services nor at GM Turkey...

Anyway, thanks again for your responses,
