Upgrading to CID+CD70 Navi - help

    Hi Guys,


    Sorry if I'm posting topic in wrong place, just I don't speak German at all :(
    Unfortunately I can't find information on English/Russian sites, so I will ask for your help here.


    I have an Opel Corsa D 2007.
    I would like to upgrade my head unit from CD30 to CD70 Navi.
    I have a TID display.


    My questions are:
    1. Can I upgrade TID display to CID?
    2. If yes, where to buy them and which ones are suitable for Corsa? Can't find on google.
    3. Can I upgrade from CD30 to CD70 Navi if I will install CID display?
    4. Is CD70 Navi suitable for any Opel car (Corsa especially)?

    I found the following description on another german site.


    1. Yes i think that will do.


    2. You may buy them from your Opel salesman or from ebay if youre lucky.


    3. Upgrade may work but, then you will ned an GID in place of an CID because they are bulid by different producers.
    (I'm not sure I just have read this on another page)


    4.The CD70 should work in the Corsa but it may have some limitations in its functions.



    At all I think it would be easyer to upgrade to Cd60 Navi in connection with the GID like its used originally.
    I dont know if you may use a CID with the CD60 navi aswell.

    But if i'll decide tol upgrade my TID to CID, which head unit I should use?


    Regarding GID/SID - are they suitable for Corsa from another autos? Like Astra, Antara, etc. Or I should look for special Corsa CID/GID?


    And could you please give me a link to ebay with one of these? Cannot find :(

    Sorry there are no GID CID on ebay at the moment.
    Thats why you have to be lucky to find one there. If you keep searching a few weeks or more , you may find one.


    I just read that there may be more problems getting a CD70 navi into a CorsaD.


    I dont want to tell you something wrong and i dont find much information about this.
    At one page they say it might work if u use a GID of the same producer,
    on the other page they say that it is not possible because the software of the corsa needs the GID and Navi produced by Delphi/Grundig which is CD60 navi.


    I think the easiest way is to look for parts that are originally built in a Corsa D.
    Parts that were built in other cars before (astra, antara) might be useless aswell.


    GID ->CD60 Navi ; CID -> DVD100 Navi


    All other combinations might not work faultless.
